The 8x8 app has been configured to sync status with teams, meaning that if you are in a call on 8x8, your Teams Status will update to reflect this.
In the clip below you will see that when a call is made on 8x8, the presence in Teams switches to in a call. When the call is dropped on 8x8, Teams switches back to available.
Similarly, Teams will push status changes back to 8x8.
